CIVIL TRIAL ATTORNEY

As one of the youngest Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial lawyers, partner Tom Harmon focuses his attention primarily on personal injury, wrongful death and professional liability cases with an emphasis on nursing home/assisted living facility and medical malpractice litigation. He also has earned certification from the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial Law and has been awarded the highest rating of A/V from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Harmon was recently named one of the top 40 lawyers in the Tampa Bay area under the age of 40 by the Tampa Bay Review.

An active member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Harmon has lectured in the area of nursing home trials at the association’s national conference and regularly lectures throughout the state. At the 2001 Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers annual meeting, he was awarded the organization's highest honor – the Gold Eagle Award – for his ongoing support in legislative and fundraising efforts. At the 2002 meeting he was reelected to serve another term on the AFTL board of directors. Mr. Harmon and his wife, DeAnna, have four children: Kendall, Thomas, Chandler, and Lucas.
