Mr. Davis attended Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Mr. Davis is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in two separate areas: Civil Trial Law and Business Litigation Law. Additionally, Mr. Davis is Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Boston, Massachusetts in the area of Civil Trial Advocacy. He is a certified Circuit Court mediator and Federal Court mediator. Mr. Davis has been lead counsel in jury trials in Federal Court and in Circuit Court for the following counties: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Manatee, Sarasota, Orange, Duval, Highlands and Sumter. Mr. Davis is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates. He lectures frequently around the state in matters involving Civil Trial Law and has testified as an expert in both State and Federal Court on behalf of lawyers, companies, and The Florida Bar. Florida Trend Magazine has named Mr. Davis as one of the state’s Legal Leaders for five consecutive years. (only 1.6% of lawyers in Florida honored by Florida Trend). He has also been named as a Florida Super Lawyer.
