Dennis J. LeVine, a native of Tampa, has practiced law in Tampa since 1983. Mr. LeVine formed his own firm in March, 1996. [The Firm represents creditors in all Bankruptcy Courts in the State of Florida. The Firm also represents creditors in commercial and consumer collection actions throughout Florida.]
Prior to forming his own Firm in March, 1996, Mr. LeVine was a partner in the firm of Cramer, Haber, McDonald & LeVine, P.A. in Tampa. Mr. LeVine attended Tulane University as an undergraduate, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1979. He received his J.D. from George Washington University's National Law Center in 1983. Mr. LeVine practices in the areas of creditors' rights, commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and representation of Chapter 7 Trustees. Mr. LeVine is admitted to practice in the federal courts in the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He is one of only ten (10) Florida attorneys Board Certified in both Consumer Bankruptcy Law and Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification ("ABC"). Mr. LeVine also served on the Board of Directors of the ABC.
Mr. LeVine served as President of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association in 1998-1999. He is a member of The Florida Bar's Business Law Section, and is an active member of the American Bankrutpcy Institute ("ABI"). The ABI published an article by Mr. LeVine on consumer bankruptcy law in the April 1996 issue of its monthly magazine. The Florida Bar Journal published an article by Mr. LeVine on attorneys fees in bankruptcy dischargeability cases in March, 1998. Mr. LeVine is a frequent contributor to The Cramdown, the quarterly publication of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association. He has been a guest speaker on various topics of bankruptcy and collection law throughout the United States. He is married to Francine, and they have five children.
